Extra Long Range Extender for HDMI, 3DTV, and IR with support for HDBaseT over one CAT6 cable -- up to 330 feet (100 meters)

Cable Matters HDMI Extender over CAT6 extends HDMI over two CAT6a cables and supports HDMI 1.3 features such as Deep Color, 1080p Full HD and compressed lossless 7.1 audio. DVI-D Computer video can also be extended when using an optional DVI-to-HDMI cable. Built-in IR extender function allows IR remote control (NOT inculded) of Source devices from remote viewing location by sending IR commands received in the vicinity of the Display back to the Source devices.

How it works

HDMI Extender system consists of a sender and a receiver unit. An HDMI source such as a set-top box, DVD player, or gaming console connects to the Sender unit with HDMI cable. The Receiver unit connects to the extended HDTV display. Only one Cat6 or CAT6a cables link the Extender for HDMI 1.3 over CAT6/6a Sender and Receiver units, up to 330 feet apart. Power is applied to both the Sender and the Receiver units with the included 5V DC power supplies and a crisp, flawless picture emerges on the HDTV display along with pristine multichannel digital audio.
